The deadline for renewing boat and watercraft registration decals in Washington State is soon approaching. All boat registrations expire on June 30th. 

Boat registrations can be renewed either online or in-person at a local vehicle licensing office. If renewing at an office, please make sure to note the registration number on the bow of the boat and bring that information with you. 

A list of Spokane area licensing offices is available at www.spokanecounty.org/auditor.  The list includes hours of operation, Monday through Friday. Vehicle/Vessel licensing offices in Spokane County are not open on Saturdays or Sundays.

The State Dept. of Licensing no longer mails renewal notices.  Boat owners can sign up to receive email renewal notices for their boat on the Department of Licensing website, www.dol.wa.gov.
