1.7 Million Registered Washingtonians Did Not Vote Last Midterm. The Republic Does Not Run on Spectators.

📌 Key Takeaway: The Founders did not finish the work of building a Republic. They handed that work to you — and elections are where you choose whether to keep it.

The Founders Gave You a Job, Not a Finished Country

Washington’s general election is November 3 — less than 33 days from the release of this article. This midterm will either tighten the grip of a political class that treats your voice as inventory, or it will remind them that We the People still hold the deed.

💡 Pro Tip: Treat every midterm like a constitutional checkpoint, not a “less important” election. The political class is counting on your fatigue.

Who EWAFA Is — and Who We Are Not

EWAFA is not a party. We are not a Republican organization. We are not a Democrat organization. We are an America Citizen alliance of citizens who still believe the Constitution is the operating manual — and that liberty is lost when honest people stay home.

If you sit this one out, someone else writes the next chapter. That is not a slogan. That is how republics are lost.

“The Constitution is not a self-executing document. It lives or dies by the choices of ordinary citizens.”

— Every generation of Americans, including this one

The Hero of This Story Is You

You are not a spectator. You are a citizen.

You go to work. You raise a family. You pay the bill when government gets it wrong. You were told your one ballot is a drop in the ocean. That is the lie that keeps the establishment comfortable.

A vacant ballot is not neutrality. It is a vacant seat — and vacant seats get filled by people who do not answer to you.

📌 Key Takeaway: The problem is not “politics.” The problem is absence. When you leave the field, someone else governs your life.

Washington Stayed Home Last Midterm

The problem is not “politics.” The problem is absence. Washington stayed home last midterm.

In the 2022 general election, the Secretary of State counted 3,067,686 ballots out of 4,806,852 registered voters — 63.8% turnout. That means about 1.74 million registered Washingtonians did not vote.

  • Only 49.8% of Washington’s voting-age population cast a ballot — half the adults in this state never showed up.

  • Census figures on citizen voting-age turnout still left roughly four in ten eligible citizens silent.

Presidential years look better. They are not the whole story. In 2024, 78.95% of registered voters turned out. That still left more than one million registered Washingtonians uncounted. Midterms are where statehouses, Congress, courts, and county offices are decided — the offices that touch your schools, your sheriff, your taxes, and your rights every day.

The Ballots That Were Cast — and Still Did Not Count

Then there is the ballot that was cast and still did not count.

In the August 2026 primary, the Secretary of State reported 20,267 Washington ballots rejected for late postmarks — up 32% from 16,131 in the 2024 primary. In 19 of 39 counties, the late-postmark rejection rate more than doubled. Rural counties took the hardest hit. Mason and Stevens saw rates jump more than fourfold.

Thousands of neighbors thought they voted. They did not.

⚠️ Warning: A ballot mailed too late is the same as a ballot never cast. Intention does not show up in the final count — deadlines do. Use dropbox's, DO NOT mail them, if possible.

The Quieter Crisis: People of Faith and Constitutional Conservatives Leaving the Field

This is not only a Washington story. It is a citizenship story.

National research by George Barna and the Cultural Research Center found that in 2024, self-identified Christian turnout fell from 64% in 2020 to 56%. That means 44% of self-identified Christians did not vote — in a presidential year. Before that election, Barna projected 104 million people of faith would sit it out, including 41 million born-again Christians and 32 million Christians who regularly attend church.

Read that again. Tens of millions of churchgoing Americans handed their voice to whoever bothered to show up.

When Stewardship Is Treated as a Duty, Citizens Show Up

The contrast matters: Barna’s “SAGE Cons” — spiritually active, governance-engaged conservative Christians — turned out at 99%. When citizens treat stewardship as a duty, they vote. When they treat it as optional, the establishment keeps the keys.

Conservatives at large follow the same midterm pattern. Pew Research found that only 41% of adult citizens voted in all three national elections from 2020 through 2024. About one in four voted in none of them. Roughly 22% voted in both presidential contests and skipped the 2022 midterm. Of those who voted in 2020, only 68% returned in 2022 — meaning roughly one in three presidential-year voters went quiet when state and local power was on the line.

Midterms are not a lesser election. They are the election the political class hopes you treat as lesser.

📌 Key Takeaway: When people of faith and constitutional conservatives stay home, they do not punish the system — they reward the networks most eager to control it.

EWAFA: A Guide — Not Another Party Machine

You do not need a better slogan. You need a plan, and you need company.

EWAFA exists to inspire, educate, and activate everyday citizens — to help you discover you are far stronger than you have been told. We hold leaders accountable to constitutional values. No compromise on that. Establishment politics has no place in this Republic, and it has no place in this Alliance - this is not a time "sit down, shut up, and be silent" - It is a time to rise!

We do not ask you to serve a party. We ask you to make sure those in power serve the people who elected them.

Strength in numbers is not a metaphor. It is the only math a constitutional republic understands.

The Plan: Three Actions Before November 3

  1. Confirm your voice exists. Check that you are on the roll and track your ballot at VoteWA.gov . A ballot you never confirm is a ballot you cannot defend.

  2. Finish the vote the way it actually counts. Your ballot is not finished when it leaves your kitchen table. Do not gamble it on a last-minute mailbox. Use an official drop box by 8 p.m. on November 3. Help one person who votes by mail do the same.

  3. Bring one neighbor with you. No citizen should stand alone. Forward this brief. Sit with one friend, one coworker, one person from your church or your county, and walk the same three steps. That is how a movement is built — one household at a time.

💡 Pro Tip: Do not try to move a crowd. Start with one person you know by name and invite them to walk these three steps with you.

What Failure Looks Like - Staying Home As if Nothing is Happening...

If constitutional citizens stay home, the loudest organized networks will not. Counties will be ignored. Candidates will be boxed in. Leaders will serve themselves.

Without your voice, we do not merely lose a race. We lose the habit of self-government. We lose the Republic — and we lose your voice with it.

Franklin’s warning still stands: “A republic, if you can keep it.”

What Winning Looks Like

  • Trained citizens in every county.

  • Ballots that are cast and counted.

  • Leaders who answer to the people who hired them.

  • Every day America Citizens that rise to answer the call that does not bend to party fashion.

  • RESULT: A country restored/saved for all generations.

You already have the authority the Founders gave you. Use it.

Stand Up. Stand Tall. Stand Together.

Stand up for the Republic you inherited. Stand tall in the knowledge that your one ballot is not a whisper — it is a share of sovereign authority. Stand together with neighbors who refuse to surrender their voice to apathy or to the political class.
