EWAFA Launches New Generation Initiative to Empower Young Americans

Free Movie Event of “Young Washington” on July 9 in Spokane

Spokane, WA — June 29, 2026 — The Empowering Washington Freedom Alliance (EWAFA) is proud to launch its New Generation Initiative. This program is dedicated to inspiring, educating, and empowering young citizens across Washington state.

To kick off the initiative, EWAFA is hosting a special Spokane premiere of the film Young Washington on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at 7:00 PM at AMC River Park Square 20. EWAFA will provide free tickets and T-shirts to 28 young leaders who register and share why the event matters to them.

Many young Americans today have not been introduced to civics education or actively engaged in the democratic process. EWAFA believes this is a critical gap that must be filled with hope, truth, and real opportunity.

“Our founding fathers understood that the success of our republic depends on an informed and engaged citizenry,” said EWAFA leaders. “Young people hold the future in their hands. We want to give them the knowledge, inspiration, and tools they need to understand America’s founding principles and discover how they can help restore and strengthen what has been built when we stand up, stand tall, and stand together.”

The New Generation Initiative creates space for meaningful dialogue, education, and fellowship. It helps young people connect with the story of America in a positive, empowering way and encourages them to become active, informed participants in their communities and country.

Community members, families, businesses, and citizens are invited to support this effort by sponsoring youth, donating, or attending the July 9 event.

Spokane, WA — June 17, 2026 — The East Washington Freedom Alliance today announced it is rebranding as the Empowering Washington Freedom Alliance (EWAFA). The name change reflects the organization’s growing commitment to serve citizens across the entire state while continuing its core mission of empowering We the People.

For too long, many Washingtonians have been underserved and unrepresented as government overreach and self-serving policies have taken priority over the needs of everyday citizens. EWAFA was created to change that reality.

“Our mission is to inspire, empower, educate, and equip citizens to recognize their strength and boldly participate in civic life,” said an EWAFA spokesperson. “We are guided by the founding principles of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution, and we believe that real change happens when citizens stand together.”

This is our 1776 moment. Throughout American history, ordinary citizens have risen to defend and advance liberty. EWAFA exists to help Washingtonians do the same today — through civic education, community engagement, and holding leaders accountable.
