EWAFA Rebrands as Empowering Washington Freedom Alliance to Expand Citizen-Focused Mission

Organization welcomes broader reach across Washington while reaffirming its commitment to liberty, accountability, and constitutional principles.

Spokane, WA — June 17, 2026 — The East Washington Freedom Alliance today announced it is rebranding as the Empowering Washington Freedom Alliance (EWAFA). The name change reflects the organization’s growing commitment to serve citizens across the entire state while continuing its core mission of empowering We the People.

For too long, many Washingtonians have been underserved and unrepresented as government overreach and self-serving policies have taken priority over the needs of everyday citizens. EWAFA was created to change that reality.

“Our mission is to inspire, empower, educate, and equip citizens to recognize their strength and boldly participate in civic life,” said an EWAFA spokesperson. “We are guided by the founding principles of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution, and we believe that real change happens when citizens stand together.”

This is our 1776 moment. Throughout American history, ordinary citizens have risen to defend and advance liberty. EWAFA exists to help Washingtonians do the same today — through civic education, community engagement, and holding leaders accountable.

Citizens who are ready to move beyond frustration and help reclaim the Republic our Founding Fathers envisioned are invited to join the movement.

Semi Bird is a proven man of the people. His life and work have always been about selfless service, not self-interest. His addition to the EWAFA board, brings the leadership, knowledge, and abilities needed to support the EWAFA mission and ensure meaningful impact.

"Our goal is simple,” said Chris McIntosh, EWAFA's Public Relations Director. “We want to help everyday citizens understand their power and give them the tools to use it. When people are informed and united, they can demand better from their leaders.”

Citizens invited to meet the Empowering Washington Freedom Alliance and learn how to stand together for liberty and accountability.

Spokane, WA — June 17, 2026 — The Empowering Washington Freedom Alliance (EWAFA) announced today that it will be exhibiting at FreedomCon, taking place June 19–20 at The Gorge in George, Washington.

Attendees are invited to visit the EWAFA booth to learn more about the organization’s mission to empower citizens, promote constitutional values, and build a united front for liberty across Washington State. EWAFA representatives will be available to discuss current initiatives, upcoming events, and ways individuals can get involved in protecting self-governance.

Can I join without donating?

Yes, sign up free to access resources and stay connected and mobilize when the call (alert) is sent out. Volunteering is optional.

Is my gift tax-deductible?

Yes, your donation is tax-deductible based on our current non-profit status as a 501 (C)(3). Your donation is secure and private using SQUARE processing.

How do I volunteer?

When you Join the alliance there is an option to list that you are interested in volunteering.

Where does EWAFA operate?
